October 31 Mother 3is really different from Mother 2. While Mother 2 had a goofy setting and 4 heroes out to save the world, Mother 3 had a more down-to-earth story.
(as of now, I have only finished 3 chapters, ohwells)
Oh, and I saw Hinawa's death flag coming the moment she sent that letter. Though it didn't make it any less tragic.
Mother 3 also brings to the point of family warmth and small community that looks out for one another vs excessive "civilized" things such as advanced technology, and even money.
Yeah, money. Unlike in Mother 2, where everyone carried money and used it from making phone calls to buying equipment, in the beginning of Mother 3 Tatzmily Village had no currency, and things were either shared or bartered. Then came along Pokey's goons. "You found 50,000 DP! ....but you put it back." was what you would get if you tried taking that guy's money from the well. Which shows the low regard of the common villagers towards money. However, with the arrival (and soon removal) of that money, mistrust was sowed within the village. When the money disappeared, that guy started accusing Duster of stealing it.
Although there are the usual goofy stuff and fourth-wall jokes present that balances it a bit.

好了，开始读华文咯 :X October 25 AoE 2 is fun if you play it once every 3 years or so...I fail at RTS games. The only Random Maps I've won are due to the AI being on Easy and their not advancing ahead of me.

:V October 08 幡紫竜 v2.1Finally got around to trying it out. Most SEs (and some normals) are still really retarded unless you have memorised everything beforehand. I keep finding myself sniped by fast homing strings in the first few playthroughs or so.
Also, your own SEs don't grant invincibility, which I guess I took for granted from playing Touhou games. They do cancel enemy bullets though, and thus HiranoA probably is the easiest to play due to her AoE SE.
Erich's first normal from the C67 version has been changed, among other things.
Once you roughly memorised what's going to happen next, high speed pattern dodging is really awesome though. Maybe one day I'll decide to go hardcore and memorise the entire game, haha.
Until then, I can't get past Stage 2 without continuing. seihou is hard~
also also: there's a small nifty fun option in the config that allows the game score to be shown on your msnmsgr's Now Playing message.
"omg I saw you have 30k+ points in Stage 2, now you're at Stage 3 with 12k points? did you continue lol"

自从把密码解除掉后，从来没死机过（虽然只有两天）
然后今日电脑自己重新启动了三次。。。Orz
慌了，开始把稀有东西搬到别的硬盘上去。。。
