Like, really. My group had lotsa teamwork and stuff, which happened to land us a first place. X3

 

There was much programmes and events during the camp, all of which were quite exciting. Of course, there is also singing of songs to praise the Lord, prayers and such. It came to my attention (I really never gave much thought) that materialistic stuff never last forever, and that we would lose them when we die. And everyone dies. So...I should really start preparing for eternal stuff instead.

 

(^ Hope I would have this kind of thinking in my mind all the time.)

Some people made an awesome flash a while ago, but they took it down later. However, with Totaku's skillz, I managed to get a copy of it too. (Hehehe..) So now it's sitting on the WMP over at the right.

 

The loading times are horrible, and you need to fullscreen to view the whole thing (due to awkward 5:3 ratio), but the 1 min+ of win is worth it. If you like either Haruhi or Touhou, that is.

Managed to get (intarweb based) IRC working on the other comp, and managed to get a game going at #IaMP. Using Hamachi, I played with T_U, and subsequently got owned by him.

 

I knew that whacking comp players weren't much of a practice! Now I want to play more with other people on the intarweb...

 

Once I could get IRC working on this comp.

EDIT: Turns out I just had to try an alternate server. D: Got in now, I shall lurk most of the time.

Today, I realized that Live Spaces added the "colors" option in the Customize script, but threw away all settings that weren't in the new window.

 

Where is the transparency option, darnit! Now I'm stuck with a grey background that used to look okay when semi-transparent. Also, people could now hide text in comments if they change the font color. :3

 

And I'd like my background image to repeat-y, not just pasted once. You know it's dull to see straight color.

I'm gonna haveta get a Custom HTML module for this, if possible.

 

These two alone made me place this move along with the creation of the Universe.

 

Also they claim to add a Windows Media Player module. That has less options too. I'm sticking with my current powertoy version.

 

Well, at least they made links open in new windows. They used to have that, so meh.

Anyways, all three of my Haruhi time capsule contributions were rejected. With only one day to go, shall I try again (even though it's hard to get a pic of the Haruhi books in another somewhat unique scene. I've done "book only", "anime screenshot" and "books laid out in a arc") or shall I give up and allow the people of 2020 to only know that Haruhi is a silhouette on a poster that is for some reason stuck all around Singapore, even overseas?

 

Maybe my description was too informative and they thought it was a marketing ploy. D:

Maybe there is already 100+ pics tagged with "haruhiism" and they think it's enough, making selection more stringent. (In contrast, no other contribution tagged with "touhou" caused both my contributions to be accepted.)

Maybe they were too used to Haruhi being on a poster that they rejected any other possible media that Haruhi might be on.

 

Oh wells, I shall take a break first.

I still need to send some Haruhi explanatory stuff to the Yahoo Time Capsule thingy.

 

Meanwhile, another got through. Yay, at least when they open this capsule, they'll know the existance of such a game. Maybe I'm putting the wrong tags on those...

The chalet was quite nice, although *many* events were not carried out. Basically, we played compy and video games like for most of the time.

 

I spent most of the time playing Worms with Kai Li, Daniel, Benjy, Kah Hong, Jay and Lester. I never played Worms before (only Liero), and for some reason I won a makeshift Worms tournament on the second day with two health to spare.

 

Winning formula ("Gate", after Echidna Parass' bomb drop on ship in Black Cat Ep 17.)

Works only when the setting "Turn does not end after using weapon" is on. (That 10 second thingy)

-1. Teleport to an enemy worm (a mob of them, without any of your worms is the best)

-2. Drop a Holy Hand Grenade.

-3. Teleport to a safer place.

-4. ????

-5. PROFIT

 

To do that, you must have a target in mind before your turn comes up.

 

On the second day, around 3.30, three of us were playing Cheat (Lester won first so he went to sleep) and were stuck in a deadlock of cards. Hence we went to sleep too.

 

Also, on the second day, I managed to learn the most basic stuff on Mah*****. *whistles innocently*

 

I also managed to do a demonstration of Touhou Eiyashou and Suimusou. However, the highest amount of interest I could generate was making people point out that it's a "dodging game" and "something like Street Fighter" respectively. (^^)

 

Anyways, I hereby proclaim that 2L is one of the best classes I've been in so far. There. :3
