    (no longer) small note

In Australia until the 30th. Don't look for me online.

Back, kinda tired, and I have church camp tomorrow. So this would be short.

Okay, Australia. The parts I went to are Sydney and Cairns.

    Stuff of interest (Sydney):
-Manly City. I kinda find the name amusing, especially when the name is affixed to other stuff (Manly Taxis, Manly Beach, Manly Cruises)
-Flies. Lots of them. (Being in the summer and all, but..)
-On that bridge in Darling Harbour, I saw a group of seifuku girls. At that time I o_O'd. After going to Cairns that was pretty normal in retrospect.
-Paddy Market. Got myself some patchu oil =D
-Witnessed a conflict (dunno what was the cause), the shopkeeper running after that random person while the wife stood there and shouted "Yuu Faakin!!"
-Witnessed someone overall AA'd a DDR machine on 3x, Stealth. (You don't really see that IRL)

    Stuff of interest (Cairns):
-Nihonjin. Lots of them. (Mostly tourists, etc) Almost all of the shop signs have Japanese on them.
-Being mistaken as Japanese tourists. (Some waitress at an Aussie grill restaurant was like, asking us to look at the menu. In Japanese.)
-Eventually we went to a Chinese restaurant for dinner. Somehow the BGM was wide and variable, consisting of stuff from Chopin (Fantaisie Impromptu), to Chuuka Ichiban (Youen), to Final Fantasy piano arranges (lots of them).
-Oh, and in that restaurant, all the waitresses were Japanese.
    -The reefs were pretty.
-Generic Asian food is different from say, the US. Instead of you choosing what kinds of NaCl you want (aka economical rice), you buy a styrofoam plate and just stack whatever NaCl you can get (aka buffet). The plates can expand infinite vertically, while the takeaway box is limited in all three vectors. Decide which one would profit more.

    Stuff of interest (Misc):
-Road sign "Nuclear Free Zone" (As compared to Chernobyl in 1986)
-Road sign "NO U      (second line) TURN"
-Shirt "F*#k Pedro Vote for Me"
-Petrol Station "7-Eleven" (seeing how petrol stations were originally convenience stores, it isn't very surprising)

    payment

Because my grades improved quite a bit from last year, I managed to persuade my parents to let me show appreciation to someone whom I owe my spare time to. He rightfully deserves the appreciation, which I have held back for quite a long time. However, I was unable to fully repay him; I shall improve my grades next year or something so that I can cover it completely.
