    Toki wo tomare!

    Time passes too fast.

All of the holiday time so far has been spent procrastinating. Yet, there wasn't enough time to finish everything I wanted to do.

However, I shall not wish for the holidays to repeat itself like 15498 times.

Speaking of which, a specific dancing animu got licenced a few days ago. Unnatural voice acting imminent.

...I should start rushing ACE opportunities already. D:
    December 17

    I'm a happy person.

    My Kino order arrived.

    Superior quality webcam images!

I'd be even happier when I'm able to read it.

I shall start learning after depleting my light novel stock. (Gonna have a problem when starting on Suzumiya Haruhi no Inbou. It's friggin thick. :3)
    December 12

    PoFV AI.

    Quoth a certain wiki.

"In Match Mode and in Story Mode, you may notice spinning flowers in the top right corner. These represent the number of wins that character has had, similar to how in Fighting Games, one gets a little icon of sorts below their health bar. ...... Also in Story Mode, the computer will tend to become easier to defeat the more of these it has."

I knew something was wrong with the Story Mode AI already, but I now have solid proof.

I was playing Touhou Kaeidzuka Story Mode Easy, using Sakuya just now.

Stage 8. I lost one match. Komachi just doesn't seem to die at all.

Second round, I immediately let out a Level 2 Charge (which causes knifes to show up in front of the opponent)

Instead of backing off and dodge, Komachi rammed straight into my projectiles.

    ...

I went "wth" and closed the game.
    December 09

    Kinokuniya still has lotsa stuff.

After being convinced, I decided to try ordering Touhou Bunkachou from Kino. Going to cost insanely much when I collect it though.

    Other finds:
    • The rest of the available Haruhi novels
    • Full Metal Panic! 1 (Light novel)
    • Pani Poni 5

They now have a shelf specifically for light novels too. Heh.

    Emo post about 2L, testimonials.

    3M2K7. Shoot.

I shall attempt to dao almost everyone, focus on studies, etc.

    Emphasis on "attempt".

Ok, on to the emo post about 2L.

2L is one of the greatest classes I've been in, really. Everyone gets along well, and there aren't any seriously spastic people. I (don't really) remember the first time I came to 1L, there were a lot of people I didn't know. I (kinda, but not really also) remember that I was seated next to Wenhao, and heard him rant about geppers and how mainstream is better. (^^)

There wasn't much happenings of importance in 1L2K5. SSB caught on in our class, and most of us started playing it. Although I kinda fear being caught, I still sneaked on some games with my fellow classmates on the comp.

Around the move to the air-con'd classroom, there was this sudden surge of popularity with a Russell Peters video. I didn't get the joke much, saw them as kinda offensive, and hence feigned allergy to Russell Peters, whacking people "lightly" when they quoted *cough* stuff.

There was also the kicking of chapteh. It was much fun. I had the habit of pocketing my hands when I play, and some other people decided to emulate it. Heh.

Also: A period of time where people such as Nel, Cavin and Zack would play soccer along the corridors. I remember witnessing the ball fly out of the building towards the canteen area. It was kinda awesome! XD

In 2005, everyone played Maple. liek rly. It increased relationships with your classmates manyfold.

Mr. Liew was replaced by Mr. Quek for our English lessons. My impression of him was kinda good, and left for oosa before I could, er, know stuff.

So, in oosa, I continued playing Maple with 1/2Leans, albeit a few months after. The fire extinguisher incident also happened at the time. I wished I could witness the moment of gg'ness though.

Just before my return, I (think I remember that I) heard from Jay that Shawn and the class planned a welcome party. Although a bit embarrassed, I was touched. (non-literally) 2L still remembers me, and I felt that I made a right choice to return to SG.

Then stuff like ACE proved otherwise. orz

2L could be described as a nucleus of an atom. The Sec 2 camp, as well as the class chalet, proved that there is strong force between nucleons. </cheesy statement> But really, 2L2K6 had teamwork beyond what I saw in primary school.

    I doubt 3M2K7 could follow up. <pessimism />

Testimonials now, yay! I never actually did testimonials, so I'm gonna start trying now.

*generating list of class (by not referencing other classmates' blogs and instead using the standard class list.)*

If you play IN, you might understand what the percentage on the second lines mean.

I remember receiving statements about how mainstream > geppers, and various declarations of fandom for F.I.R. Thought of him as kind of a weird but okay person.

    2K6--
Seat's next to him again. I realized the extent of his Chinese skillz and lesser Maths skillz. Still felt that he's somewhat strange (eg. not the kind of character I'm used to). However, not as much. ^^

Hey, he's now iCouncil chairman! Applaud him sometime.

    2K6--
Still the same size. XD Has a neat blog (albeit not updated), and tells clearly FTW jokes on the bus to pass time. For some reason, Benjy became marked as evil, prolly by Daniel. Became the subject of pokes and stuff.

Knows how to use his chibi-ness to an extent.

    2K6--
Naruto fan. Awesome! However, his fandom is a bit overwhelming at times.
Now a fan of Ken Akamatsu's works, which pushes him safely towards -100%. Nice.

He also draws kinda well, although I hate to admit it. ^^

Found out that he has an interest towards Linux and Macs. This is when I realized that he might have some l33t skillz.
Still disrupts the class with somewhat lame questions and comments though. This time, however, I welcome the occasional distraction.

Still the science rep. Maybe it's because he's quite good in the sciences. This year, he's often called Nanny, which he dislikes much. I try not to follow them.

    He knows how to work the breadboard, which automatically makes me classify him as a science pro. Along with most of the class. ^^;

I wonder how I'd survive 2 years with some guy who went Spanish Inquisition over me earlier today. D:
    December 03

    Casino Royale was meh.

Watching it through explained why more people watched Happy Feet instead.

    <spoilers>

Firstly, they drag the plot after you thought the major story arc was done. After tying up the loose threads, you would be like, "Huh?"

Also: Lack of lotsa action sequences. And gadgets.

A possible explanation was that they tried focusing on stuff like character development instead of playing children's card games *coughs* inflitrating huge evil mansions and stuff.

Also: Reasonings about "people with skill don't need fancy gadgets".

There was also a mention that James Bond was recently promoted to 007.

    ...

    ...

    After 9/11?

    *timeline inconsistancies!*

    </spoilers>

They should make a last successful James Bond movie, and never touch it again. For various reasons.
