Okay, the above was a lie just to get the attention of those who didn't attend the chalet this time. Yes, the chalet this time was a flop. Yes, it's not "some people didn't come". More like half the class. Kudos to Xuan Cheng for attempting to organize this one though.

 

What did we do there? Pretty much the usual stuff. Shawn brought his 360 and some people played nonstop through the night, we borrowed a 麻雀 set and played a bit, we played SSB, Worms, Stepmania, I attempted to show some Touhou, people went bowling, etc. The difference being, half of the class... Oh wait, the teachers didn't come too. Make that 60% of the class absent.

 

Just being there makes a lot of difference you know. In exaggeration, this chalet was like playing a game meant for multiplayer only all by yourself.

 

Is Sec 3 life just so supersaturated with commitments and stuff that people couldn't get together? Or is the two years of interaction within a class not worth much? Or am I pretending to overreact, due to mixed factors of being displeased with the turnout and my own habit of nostalgia? (I'm betting on the third one.)
