September 27 Shiny new fanfiction.net account!Nothing up yet. The bio isn't even showing. Oh well.
*goes off to wait 3 days*
Meanwhile, the future of Pockihaos is uncertain. I still feel depressed.. ZOMG! Spoiler! Pockethouse dies!Well, nothing lasts forever. Like the NYPSP6GEP2004 forum. However, both were fun while they lasted.
Most probably, my Maple comic needs a new host. I might try using Keenspace, or perhaps a new site of my own?
When Pockethouse is revamped, there will be a forum reset, and a change of theme. Though they might be new and stuff, there would no longer be the insanity, discussions, doinking, cookie/cake/yeast/water offerings, and fun. Maybe they might have them, but it will no longer be the same.
I'm going to sit in a corner now. Leave your comments in the box, and don't impersonate. September 24 How to stop friggin imposters running over blogs?Whack them with a huge hammer, I say.
Then I say that comments should have IP logs. then you can track down the geographical position of the impersonating idiots then whack them with a huge hammer.
Meanwhile, can Kiwi please remove the first 2 comments in your latest post?
Comments are a privilage, not something you can abuse. September 23 Urge...to...embed....audio files....rising....Well, anyone knows a file host site that doesn't mind bandwidth sucking?
Anyway, I have been thinking to post my fanfic at the Nanyang P6 GEP Forums on fanfiction.net, since no one goes there anymore. Sigh, I declare that forum dead. Prove to me otherwise.
So, yeah. I'm done with this post. Looks quite small compared to the previous one, hmm?
Results: FAIL. The html coding might have been removed from the posts for saddening reasons which I don't know. The code I used is below.
<object classid="CLSID:22D6F312-B0F6-11D0-94AB-0080C74C7E95" codebase="http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/mplayer/en/nsmp2inf.cob#Version=6,4,5,715" width="240" height="252" type="application/x-oleobject">
<param name="autostart" value="true"> <param name="filename" value="http://www.something.com/thisisofcoursenottherealURL/sync.mp3"> <param name="showcontrols value="true"> <param name="ShowStatusBar" value="false"> </object> Anyone find something wrong?
September 21 Free Flow 1Ok, I'm just going to type recent stuff in a "free flow" sort of way, so I will jump from topic to another. And I won't erase anything I type. Blah. Here we go.
As you might have seen, I added my links to other blogs! Request for your blog to be added to the list in the comments. Yay. Also, I've been thinking of adding bgm, but of course being the slacker I was, I chose to use MSN Spaces. So no bgm feature. Boo.
Is using Blogger really worth it? I mean, you can add leet features to it, like from a tagboard that everyone spams on, to a typing style skin (David's blog in mah links)
But then again, Blogger is easy to hack into, as I assumed from some hacked blogs (exclude KY, his was sabo'd by some classmate of his). Hence MSN Spaces *seem* more safe to me.
Last time, I added some list at the bottom left corner that had the names of the songs I want to download. I found a site that gives the songs, so I happily downloaded them. Until they did not have the songs that I still want. (updated bottom left corner list.)
Wait, why am I downloading copyrighted content? Then again, the Internet almost has no rules, with everything you can imagine going on. Private info theft, hacking, ads, viruses, stuff. It's like a scary alternate world or something.
School here in oosa is quite nice. I like it.
Comparisons:
oosa
-Moves from class to class, keeps you awake and attentive for next lesson
-Lotsa clubs you can choose from. And they are optional. And you can choose more than 1.
-Lunch queues are not as slow, but still quite lag. You can get 10 minutes or so to chow down.
-Computer system is monitored. You can't even cut and paste. (Not that it is a good thing.)
-Subjects are classified properly. eg. You learn Math systematically.
-Lockers are large and spacy to put your books in.
-PE is weird.
-There's a homeroom period to do your homework.
SG
-Teacher moves from class to class, keeps teacher awake and attentive to teach a class, who did not have the same benefit.
-Some weird system crams you into a CCA you don't want. (Daniel originally got into NCC, thankfully he's now in EC3.)
-Recess queues lag.
-Computer lab is filled with people playing WCIII during recess.
-eg. Math = Algebra I + Algebra II + Geometry + Statistics + others. Mix.
-Lockers are cabinets with small pigeon holes covered with a lock.
-NAPFA 2.4 km is stamina consuming.
-Homework put off until you get home.
Ok, Math in Singapore isn't that bad, it's just sort of...chaotic.
Anyway, notice I said "choose your own club" in the comparisons? Did I mention you can start one too? And lunch, you can pay by some prepaid card number of sorts. No need to go "oh noes" when you left your wallet at home.
Anyway, today I was in Anime Club. I get to learn how to draw figures better, and the whole bunch of people watch some anime I never heard of gotten from the net. (SEE?! THE INTERNET IS WEIRD!)
The anime had the four sacred beasts. Yay. They mentioned Seiryu specifically. Yay x2.
Anyway, that anime talked about some Japanese high school girl turning out to be the priestess Ryujjin, or something. Anyone heard of it?
(EDIT: It is teh Harukanaru Toki no Naka de. Quite a long name.)
Seal Online for North America is coming out in 2 days! It looks quite good. Let's go check if it's global or something, then I can continue playing when I get back to SG.
Neverball, Medhi's levels level 13/14 is giving me some little talks with my parents about whacking the keyboard and moaning. That thing's dangerous.
< end > September 07 NOT Hacked by Chinese! My exclassmate KY's blog has removed all the entries he placed, and instead posted an apology to everyone he made fun of.
Turns out some fat guy reported the blog to the teachers.
Kinda sad actually. |
